First, the doe gave birth, and falling from her behind was a slimy turd of new flesh and blood. She ate her baby's slippery skin. How did she know it didn't want it? Its awkward legs tremble like leaf bugs beneath the gaze of talons. * Now, a doe gives chase. She's come a long way from the goopy guys of her mother. She is lithe and lovely, so lovely that the buck mounts her and she moos in grace. * In the end, does have all gone crazy. And now they all eat each other with blankeyed violence. No more yucky babies. Just yucky bitemarks.
I hope this doesn't offend you (some comparisons irk artists), but I mean this as a compliment, not something to detract from its own originality: It made me think of the scene in Watership Down when Captain Holly describes the gas poisoning of the rabbits in the warren--
I. I don't even know if you've seen Watership Down. But the reason I wanted to mention this was because that scene ALWAYS made me feel such an intense emotion as a child, and even now I can watch it and it makes a chill run down my spine.
This piece has that same effect. That's why I wanted to make the comparison. It pulls off the essence of being chilling, yet not in a way that it's something I'd never want to stop seeing. I like it a lot.

This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
